As a Navy Seabee for 14 years with three deployments in my past, I decided when I returned from deployment in 2020 that I would teach my daughters how to use the tools I have been trained to and make something beautiful plus functional. We started out with a table and then moved towards small toddler/preschool size picnic tables and various other items and techniques. The time spent was very rewarding for all of us and is what led to the creation of Distinctive WoodWorkz.
